Let me start by introducing myself
My name is Dylan Milton. I grew up in Gray, Georgia, where I now grow my mobile welding business. Before I ever considered welding as a career and starting my own business, I served our great nation in the U.S. Army as a Stryker Systems Maintainer (91S). Due to injuries, I ended my military service early but needed a strong career path to continue chasing my goals of being successful. That's where I found welding. I was formally trained and certified to weld through the Advanced Welding Program at Western Technical College in El Paso, Texas. Since then I have taken it upon myself to grow and learn everything about welding that I can, including Tig welding stainless and aluminum, pipe welding, pressure vessel welding, and much more!
What is Advanced Welding?
Advanced welding is the art and knowledge of all metals and welding methods. What that means is I learned from the ground up. I learned the basics of metal cutting and welding. I learned how certain metals are affected by heat and cooling. I spent months reading books and going over drawings before even touching a welding rig. Once I was allowed to weld, I spent years constantly working to "perfect" that weld. However, you learn there is no perfect weld. Only good welds and bad welds.
What is my mission?
My mission is to continue to grow and learn as a person and a business. I started out in my parents' garage and have taken every opportunity to grow and learn something new. I want to be able to face any challenge in front of me with absolute certainty that I can handle it. I want to be able to help as many people as I can to save just a little more time and money (let's be honest, we could all use more of that, right?), while simultaneously, giving better quality work than what was originally there.
So, my mission? To not only repair it, but make it better than new!
